A few words about us
My name is Nuala, an event planner with over 12 years experience in projects, events and promotions.
Aye Surely Events is Donegal's newest and most dynamic (we like to think) events management business. We are brand spanking new to the event management scene in Donegal but have already secured what we consider to be a fantastic opportunity.
I am honoured to announce that we will be working with the famous Doagh Famine Village, Isle of Doagh, on events and promotions for the business business, and the development of their fantastic new, purpose-built venue - the Red Roof Barn!
What we do
Full or partial events planning & management.
We at Aye Surely Events are resourceful, fun, have buckets full of creativity and energy, and a truly 'can-do attitude' to event planning and management.
What we do will be very much driven and shaped by you and your vision, needs, and of course the budget! Don't just dream about it - lets do it!
How we do it
You will be the conductor and I will be the orchestra!
We have excellent relationships with a large range of product and service providers, helping to ensure that you get the event that you want, at a great price.
For me a shared vision is essential if we are to tick all your boxes and help you to realise your vision.
What people say about us
I wanted to start my own cleaning business but wasn't sure were to start. It didn't take Nuala more than 2 hours and she knew where I should go and what I needed to do to access start-up supports. She assisted me with all paper work, phone numbers, contacts, etc. She also helped me with my business plan and steered me in the right direction. Most important Nuala believed in me, she always loved hearing about all my plans and got a buzz off my excitement. She went through all stuff with me and helped me a lot more than I expected.
Nuala worked with me on a number of 1,000 capacity concerts at the Knocknarea Arena at IT Sligo which were Christmas concerts for Ocean FM Radio station headlining Nathan Carter and other artists including Foster & Allen.Nuala was coordinating the 40 strong members of the Sligo Gospel Choir, looking after ticket sales and associated guest lists. Nuala was always a delight to work with and extremely professional.
I worked with Nuala McLaughlin as co-coordinator of the Sligo Gospel Choir, from 2010 to 2016, when she left Sligo to start up her own business in Inishowen. The success of the choir is due, primarily, to Nuala McLaughlin, who was the driving force in starting up, organising and building the choir. Nuala worked tirelessly on behalf of the choir, looked for and found opportunities for the choir to sing, obtained funding, organised events and established links with other choirs and other organisations in the Sligo area.I think that Nuala’s business is aptly named: “Aye Surely!” typifies her ‘can do’ attitude, her sense of humour and her pride in her Donegal origins.
Nuala encouraged me, supported me but most of all she empowered me. Nuala guided and helped me to find the belief I needed to have in myself to 'stand tall and be seen' and get started on my business journey. She was so devoted to her work that she gave me motivation and drive to keep going.Nuala is unique, full of life and energy and uplifting. I have become stronger in myself because of her coaching and I have turned a great corner in my life because of her support. It was a pleasure to have Nuala by my side on the journey to self employment & I thank her for all she's done for me.
Nuala was the founder and Coordinator of Sligo Gospel Choir, and, as MD, I worked with her for the choir's first six years. Nuala was consistent, efficient and prompt when liaising with clients. Her approachable manner and attention to detail meant that events took place with a minimum of stress for all concerned.Nuala is equally at home with celebrations/parties and more formal occasions. I have no hesitation in recommending her to manage your event!
